RealtyPRO® Advisor Qualification FAQs
Why does RealtyPRO® require experienced Advisors?
RealtyPRO® requires experienced Advisors because the client’s outcome and the Associate’s reputation depend on the person handling the transaction.
A referral is not just a lead. It is a vetted relationship. RealtyPRO® does not want referrals sent to inexperienced agents simply because they need sales practice or quota help, such as our license parking competitors do by sending referrals to their sister owned brokerage’s (or franchises’) new or non-producing Realtors®.
Does RealtyPRO® send referrals to inexperienced newbie agents?
RealtyPRO® Network’s model is designed around vetted, experienced Advisors / Realtor® Partners, not random inexperienced agents.
We do not send referrals to new inexperienced agents. This is a key distinction. RealtyPRO® wants clients handled by capable vetted professionals because the goal is not just to place the referral—it is to maximize the probability of a successful closing and protect everyone’s reputation.
Does RealtyPRO® force referrals into sister brokerages or affiliated brands?
No. RealtyPRO® Network’s positioning is that referrals are matched with the best qualified professional for the client, not forced into an affiliated sister brokerage or internal franchise channel merely to keep business in house to maximize the broker’s revenue quite possibly at everyone else’s expense. This client-first approach helps protect the Associate, the consumer, and the RealtyPRO® brand.
If you are vetting brokerages to hang your license as a Referral Agent™, the brokerage model that RealtyPRO® Network’s founder Daniel Biro created, ask them this very important question (FAQ) which they typically don’t want you to know the answer to.
Who should apply to become a RealtyPRO® Advisor?
Experienced Realtors® who are responsive, ethical, client-focused, and capable of closing transactions are strong candidates to become RealtyPRO® Advisors.
This is not intended for inexperienced agents who simply need leads. RealtyPRO® Advisors are capable professionals who can protect the client relationship and the referring Associate’s reputation by doing an exceptional job.
Why does RealtyPRO® Network use experienced Advisors instead of new agents?
RealtyPRO® Network uses experienced Advisors because referrals are built on trust.
When an Associate refers a friend, family member, client, or business contact, the Associate’s reputation is on the line. RealtyPRO® does not want those relationships handed to inexperienced agents who are still learning the business. And, experienced Advisors with honed negotiation skills and in-depth local pricing and market insights typically save the client a lot of money.
What makes someone a strong RealtyPRO® Advisor?
A strong Advisor has experience, market knowledge, responsiveness, communication skills, transaction competence, ethical judgment, negotiation skills, and a record of serving clients well.
The best Advisors understand that a referral is not just a lead. It is a relationship entrusted to them by another professional, and we are putting our good names behind them.
Does a RealtyPRO® Advisor have to be a Realtor®?
Yes. If RealtyPRO® specifically requires Realtor® Partner status for a certain Advisor membership level, then the professional must be a NAR member for that membership level, working for and managed by another brokerage.
However, the broader quality standard is experience, licensing, professionalism, and the ability to serve the referred client well. Any use of Realtor® trademark terminology should remain accurate and compliant with NAR trademark rules.
What level of experience should a RealtyPRO® Advisor have?
A RealtyPRO® Advisor is expected to have meaningful transaction experience, in-depth market knowledge, professionalism, honed negotiation skills, and the ability to serve referred clients honestly and competently.
RealtyPRO® Network is building a trusted quality-driven brand, so Advisors are not inexperienced agents who are merely looking for practice. Advisors cannot be newly licensed inexperienced agents.
How does RealtyPRO® vet Advisors?
RealtyPRO® evaluates licensing, experience, service areas, transaction background, authenticity, ethics and professionalism, specialties, responsiveness, and client-service ability.
The purpose of vetting is to protect Associates, consumers, and the trusted RealtyPRO® brand. A referral network is only as strong as the professionals who receive and service the referrals. RealtyPRO® Network’s founder Daniel Biro created the modern Referral Agent model which some less-than-honest brokers are trying to copy.
Why does Advisor quality matter so much?
Advisor quality matters because the referred client often trusts the Associate who made the recommendation due to an existing personal relationship.
If the Advisor performs poorly, the client may blame the Associate and RealtyPRO® Network. That is why RealtyPRO® emphasizes experienced, ethical, professional trusted Advisors instead of sending referrals to just any Realtor®.
Can an Advisor lose referral privileges?
Yes. An Advisor who is unresponsive, unprofessional, inexperienced, non-compliant, dishonest, or repeatedly mishandles clients will risk losing referral privileges and/or membership with the RealtyPRO® Network community.
RealtyPRO® Network’s value depends on trust. Advisors who do not protect that trust will not continue receiving referrals.
How can an Advisor build a stronger reputation in the RealtyPRO® Network community?
An Advisor can build reputation by responding quickly, communicating well, closing transactions professionally, collecting positive reviews, honestly and accurately completing their profile, participating authentically in the community, creating teams, and treating Associates as long-term referral partners.
The best Advisors understand that every referral can become part of a relationship, not just a transaction.
