TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Dec. 16, 2013 – Governor Rick Scott announced two appointments and one reappointment to the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC), subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. Roger Enzor with Real Estate Counselors Inc. in Pensacola recently took the position of FREC’s new chair. Poul Hornsleth with Caldwell Realty in Gulfport is the new vice chair. Scott appointed Richard “Dick” Fryer of Lake Mary – a real estate broker and president of Southern Style Real Estate Inc. – to FREC. He succeeds Richard DeNapoli and is appointed for a term beginning Dec. 13, 2013, and ending Oct. 31, 2017. Claude “Chip” Boring III, president of Re/Max Realty Plus in Sebring, also was reappointed for a term beginning Dec. 13, 2013 and ending Oct. 31, 2017. Another Realtor already serves on FREC: Darla Furst with Michael Saunders & Company in Sarasota. Elias Chotas, 66, of Edgewood, an attorney with Dean, Mead, Egerton, Bloodworth, Capouano, Bozarth PA, was appointed to succeed Michael Guju for a term beginning Dec. 13, 2013, and ending Oct. 31, 2016.
