Maponics acquired by Pitney Bowes

Maponics, a provider of boundary sets and other data to many real estate websites and vendors, has been snatched up by Pitney Bowes, a provider of products and services that power commerce, according to an email sent to Maponics clients. Maponics’ spatial data paired with Pitney Bowes’ identification and location software will offer clients a “holistic, accurate and precise view of your target audience that we believe to be unmatched in the market,” the email said. Maponics boundary sets lie beneath the search tools of a broad range of real estate websites and apps.
