The continued success of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene in the Houston metro is evident with a new move aiming to grow its Pearland office. Markeith Spears, currently at the Inner Loop office, will move into the manager role at the Pearland office.
Spears has the goal to expand the office by 25 Realtors by the end of 2016, which means doubling the size of the current office. With the brokerage’s reputation, it might not be such a tall task.
The Houston Association of Realtors recently released its MLS Ranking Report of the top 10 listing companies for July year-to-date 2016, top 10 listings sold companies for June year-to-date 2016, top 10 buyer closing companies June year-to-date 2016 and top 10 producing companies in June year-to-date 2016. BHGRE Gary Greene ranked in the no. 1 spot in all four of the categories.
The brokerage had a total of 3,592 homes sold in June since the start of 2016, and a total of 1,789 sold listings year-to-date. As of July 5, BHGRE Gary Greene had a total of 1,290 total active listings.
Growing the BHGRE Gary Greene brand
“Markeith has demonstrated an uncanny ability to build relationships, foster camaraderie and teamwork,” Marilyn Eiland, managing partner of BHGRE Gary Greene, said in a statement. “We’re certainly delighted to have him lead the expansion of our presence in the Pearland area.”
Spears is moving into his new position after being a top-producing agent in the firm’s Inner Loop office. Before that, Spears came to the company with experience as a project manager for Perry Homes, which is one of the largest private homebuilders in the nation.
